CineASA Announces Entries For 'Eastern Shorts' Competition

CineASA is inviting entries from intending Producers/filmmakers of the whole eastern region for participation of their films in the short film competition ‘Eastern Shorts, 2012’ organized on occasion of ‘4th CineASA Guwahati International film Festival’ and requesting them to send their films preferably in DVD format with a Demand Draft of Rs. Five hundred only (Rs. 500/-) favoring ‘Cine Art Society, Asom’ payable at Guwahati. This year the competition will be held for both short feature and animation film.

For student participants the entry fee will be Rs. Two Hundred (Rs. 200/-) only. All entries should reach its office positively by 25th January, 2012 in the address as follows: Cine Art Society, Asom, C/o Kareng Artz,  2-Shanti Path, R G Baruah Road, Guwahati-781024, Contact no: 94350-14245, 94350-11757. 

The short listed films from the entries will be screened under ‘Eastern Shorts, 2012’ section in the festival. CineASA has already constituted a jury for selection of the films for the package as well as for the awards; two for the best short film and best direction and another for the jury’s special mention on each categories.
